So they have found evidence of water on mars. Does this find change your stance on if we should make an attempt at visiting the big red planet of our dreams?

My most recent conspiracy theorist take on why the govt is all of the sudden so concerned about the status of life on Mars: They want to make for sure and for certain that Mars is if fact 100% totally DEAD, because they intent to turn Mars into our own interplanetary dump.

Furthermore, if they can simultaneously convert the moon into an offensive military launching platform, then all the better.

Have you read recently about how happy the people in Nevada are about being the butt of the newkewlar age? That's why.
BTW, by dump, I'm talking about the newkewlar type...not necessarily for your everyday run-of-the-mill garbage.

Not that I'm condoning such pratices of dumping nuclear waste in the middle of America the beautiful, but where or what do you suggest they do with it? The cost and dangers of transporting nuclear waste to mars, excuse the pun, would be astronomical. Even the current administration could see that. If that was possible then it would be possible to barge it to the sun.
Back to Mars.. Scientific applications of studying mars up close and personal, if life exsist. Is it a good idea?
