Hey all,
I'm Brian. I live in Maryland, and know none of you, except Colleen, who I met in England, and subsequently, mostly coincidentally, in Las Vegas. I am 17, and a senior in high school. I play clarinet in the marching band, and am remarkably tired of "and one time at band camp" jokes. I try to give blood whenever there's a blood drive at my high school, but have had bad experiences and as a result have an ambivalent relationship with the American Red Cross. The first time, I was disqualified because both my pulse and my temperature were above the limits. The second, near the end, I had a "vasovagal reaction" and passed out. I find this to be rather amusing, in retrospect, but I didn't really think so at the time.
I am very easily amused. The highlight of my night tonight was my friend Anne messing up her face like a squirrel and going "nainainainainaianinianianianaai."
I am very liberal. I am a registered member of the Green Party, though I'm more rational than some of its members in that that I probably would not vote for a Green candidate in the general election if Maryland were a swing state.
I have several phrases that I use far too often, most notably, "That's no good." Also, "I'm not even kidding" has proven more addictive than crack. If I overuse them here, feel free to shoot me.
Or not. Violence is bad.
---Brian

I gave blood once at school and was extremely lightheaded for the rest of the day. Apparently my blood is rare, though, and the San Diego Blood Bank calls me or sends me a pamphlet in the mail at least once a week. It is starting to get on my nerves. Anyway, welcome Brian! I am glad you are here! You always have interesting things to talk about, which is good for something like this. Indeed.

Welcome, Brian! I'm Kimee. As is apparent from my username...oh well. The only person I know well on this forum is Colleen, too, but everyone else on here is really nice. Bye!

Hey Brian...I don't remember if I have asked you this before, but did that picture of Stephen Hawking ever turn out?

Hey Brian...I don't remember if I have asked you this before, but did that picture of Stephen Hawking ever turn out? Yeah, it came out ok. You can tell it's him. Not the greatest picture ever, but cool nonetheless. I liked it.

Good deal! Would you mind e-mailing me a copy of it or something. I realize there are plenty of pictures of him around, but it is somehow infinitely more exciting to have a picture of him that was taken by someone I know. Wow.
